Does any one know where i can find steel scrap metal in the southbay area of san diego?

I need to find a good supply of steel for some forging, any help would be appreciated.

Try Ecology Auto Parts. I know that doesn’t sound right but I work in a shipyard here in San Diego and we scrap tons of steel every day and they are the ones who comes and picks it up. We scrap metal of all different sizes. Large steel plates to angle iron to beams to whatever scrap that is not specifically designed to be part of the ship.
I am sure you will find what you are looking for there.
