Remote Control
What kind of touch screen remote control should I get?
I need a high end universal remote control. I need it to have all the regular stuff (tv, dvd, surround sound, blah blah), but I would like it to have more. I want one with a docking station. It would be nice if it could control my computer too. I would like it to surf the net. Also I would like to be able to check the cameras of my security system from the remote. Does anyone know of any remotes with these functions?
Actually, if you go to the Crestron site, they have several models that have varying amounts of functionality, depending on what you want to spend. http://www.crestron.com/features/applications/home/ is one possiblity. We use crestron controllers commercially and they can be programmed to control just about anything that plugs into the wall. Just check out the web site and you can find what you’re looking for.
